Over at number 1, Krishnashray on the Sama Savli Road, you’ll find Sandhya Senior Secondary Public School. We’re located in the Sama area of Vadodara, which has grown quite a bit recently. The school has been a steady presence through all those changes. We take in students for their senior secondary years, which is always a bit of a high-pressure time for them. Because of that, we try to keep things as grounded as possible. The building is simple and we keep it clean, but we aren't worried about having the newest gadgets or the trendiest decor. What matters to us is that the teachers are in the classrooms and the students are actually reading their textbooks. We have a lot of stairs and hallways that stay busy during the breaks. You’ll find our staff busy with everything from grading papers to making sure the drinking water is topped up. It’s a lot of small tasks that add up to a functioning school. We don't pretend to be anything we're not. We’re a local school where kids from the neighborhood come to study. The traffic on Sama Savli Road can get a bit much in the evenings, but during the day, we’re focused on what's happening inside our walls. It’s a plain and simple approach to education, and it’s worked for us for a long time now. We just keep moving forward, one school year at a time.
