Community Science Centre

We are based at Lok Vigyan Bhavan in the Aarti Society area, right on Atmajyoti Ashram Road in Subhanpura. It’s a place where we try to make science a bit more accessible to everyone in the neighborhood. We’ve been in this building for quite a while now. It’s not a high-tech lab with shiny equipment everywhere. Instead, it’s a community space with lots of hands-on stuff for people to try out themselves. We get a lot of students and curious locals stopping by to see what we have on display. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed and informal. We don't have a big corporate backing or a polished PR department. It’s just us explaining how things work in plain English to anyone who asks. Subhanpura is a good place for the center because it’s easy for families to reach us. We don't do big promotional events. Usually, word just gets around that we have something interesting or a new exhibit to show. The building itself is a bit older, and we’ve got a lot of projects tucked into different corners of the rooms. We don't use a lot of big words or try to sound like experts all the time. We’re just folks who like science and want to share that with the people living around here. It’s been our home for a long time and we like the way things are. We hope to keep showing people cool things for a long time.
