Sandhya High School

Sandhya High School is located at 104 in the Ashiyana Complex. This is on Tandalja Road, which connects to Vasna Road here in Vadodara. Being in a complex means we are surrounded by other businesses and shops. It’s a high school, so we deal with students who are a bit older. The school isn't a separate building with a garden; it’s more of a commercial space that we have turned into classrooms. It can get a bit crowded in the hallways when the bell rings and classes change. We have the standard desks and chairs, and the rooms are lined up along the corridor. The Tandalja area is always bustling, so there is constant noise from the traffic outside on the road. Parents like the location because it is easy to reach by rickshaw or scooter. We have a small desk at the entrance where visitors have to sign in. The teachers use the common area to grade papers during their free periods. It’s a very practical setup for a city school where space is hard to find. We just go about our day, following the timetable and making sure the students are where they need to be. Most of the kids live in the apartments nearby, so they don't have far to travel. It feels like a neighborhood school because we know most of the families who send their kids here to study. We don't have much room for sports, but we do our best with the space we have in 390007.
