Ganesh Lace

The shop is in Gorwa and it is a busy spot most days. We started Ganesh Lace because there was a need for it around here. People come in looking for different patterns and we try to keep the shelves full of stock. It gets pretty dusty with all the foot traffic outside but that is just how Gorwa is. My brother and I usually open up early before the heat gets too bad. We spend a lot of time just sorting through boxes and helping customers find what they need for their tailoring work. Sometimes it is just one small roll and other times it is a big order for a wedding. We do not have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It is just a workspace with plenty of lace piled up. You can find us pretty easily if you know the area well. The neighbors are mostly other small shops so we all know each other. It is noisy with the bikes going past but we are used to it now. We do not spend much time on the computer or doing fancy paperwork. Most of the day is just spent talking to people and making sure the rolls are tidy. If you walk in you will probably see a few of us drinking tea near the front. We have been here a while and plan to stay. It isn't a huge operation just a local business doing what we do every day.
