You will find us at number 2 in Thuvavi, which is under the Dabhoi taluka here in the Vadodara district. It’s a small community and most people know each other. The school isn't very big, but it serves the families living in and around Thuvavi. We deal with the daily routine of a school, like ringing the bell and making sure the classrooms are ready. The road outside can get a bit muddy when the monsoons hit, which makes the morning walk a bit of a challenge for everyone. We have simple desks and benches for the students. It is mostly a quiet place during the lessons, except for the occasional sound of a tractor passing by. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment or a big playground, just a bit of open space where the kids play during the break. The heat in Vadodara can be quite tough in the middle of the day, so we try to keep the rooms as airy as possible. It is a very practical setup. We aren't trying to be anything other than a local school for the kids who live nearby. Most of our staff are from the local area too. We just come in, do our jobs, and go home. It’s a simple life here in the village, and the school is just one part of it. We just keep going, day after day, without much fuss.
