Samskar Public School

You can find Samskar Public School over in Nanubhai Tower, which is on the Sama Main Road in Vadodara. It’s a pretty busy part of the Sama Road area, so there’s always a lot of traffic and people moving about. We’re separate from the little kids' school, focusing on the older students who need a bit more of a serious environment. The school is basically based in the tower building, so we don't have a big open field or anything like that. We use the space we have for classrooms and a small office for the principal. It gets a bit cramped when everyone is in the halls at the same time, but we make it work. The teachers here are pretty straightforward and they don't have much patience for fooling around. We aren't one of those schools that promises the world. We just try to follow the syllabus and make sure the students are prepared for their tests. Being on Sama Main Road means it’s easy for the kids to get here by bus or rickshaw. There are plenty of shops right downstairs, so it’s a very urban feel. Sometimes the noise from the street is a bit much, but you get used to it after a week or two. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s a practical place for local families who want a school that’s close to home and doesn't cost a fortune for the education.
