Sai Geotechnical Lab

We are down in the basement of Panchratna Apartment on Subhanpura Road, specifically at 13-A. It gets a bit cool down here compared to the street level, which is actually nice when the sun is really beating down outside. Being a lab, we have a lot of different machines and samples of dirt and rocks tucked away in various corners. It can get a bit cluttered when a lot of projects come in at once, but we know where everything is. The entrance is just off the main road, so it’s easy for people to drop things off, though parking is always a bit of a nightmare around Subhanpura. You have to be careful coming down the stairs since they are a bit narrow. Most of us have been working together at Sai Geotechnical Lab for a long time, so we have our own way of doing things that just works for us. It’s not the sort of place with polished floors or fancy waiting rooms. We mostly just focus on the testing we have to do. Sometimes the upstairs neighbors are a bit noisy, but we don't mind much. We usually just have the radio playing softly in the background while we work through the logs. It’s a busy little space and we spend a lot of time looking at test results and writing things down by hand before putting them into the computer. We just get the work finished and go home.
