Rocky Subhiksha Gift & Bag

Rocky Subhiksha Gift & Bag is a shop we run on Patthe Bapurao Marg in the Padra area. It’s a straightforward kind of place where we mostly have bags and various gift items. If you walk inside, you’ll see bags hanging from almost every available hook on the walls and ceiling. It makes the shop look a bit crowded, but it’s the best way to show what we have. I usually spend my time rearranging the shelves or helping someone find a bag that’s the right size for their needs. The road outside, Patthe Bapurao Marg, can be quite dusty and loud with all the scooters and trucks passing by, so we have to wipe down the bags every single morning. We don't have any professional decorators; we just put things where they fit. Some of the bags have been here a while, and others go as soon as we put them out. It’s just me and sometimes a family member helping out when it gets busy. We don't have a website or any fancy advertisements; we just rely on people walking by and seeing the bags out front. Padra is a place where everyone kind of knows everyone else, so we get a lot of repeat customers who live just down the street. It’s a honest way to make a living, and we’ve been doing it this way for a long time without much changing in our daily routine.
