R.K. Blinds Industries

You can find R.K. Blinds Industries at 'Shivakruti', which is on the first floor, F/F-4, right at the Dandia Bazar Char Rasta. It is a very central spot, so we see a lot of people passing by throughout the day. We have been working with blinds and window coverings for a good number of years now. Our office is usually draped in different fabric samples and slats of various materials. We spend a lot of our time measuring things out and making sure the cuts are exact. It is a bit of a repetitive job, but it has to be done right or the blinds won't hang straight. The Char Rasta outside is always noisy with horns and traffic, but once you come up to the first floor, it is a bit calmer. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work on the orders. It is not a huge operation; we just have a small team of people who know how to handle the tools and the materials. We do not use any fancy sales talk. When people come in, we just show them what we have in stock and tell them how long it will take to get things ready. Most of our customers are from the neighborhood or nearby offices. We have stayed in this same spot because it is convenient and everyone knows where the Dandia Bazar intersection is. It is just a steady, local business.
