Relish Hotel

You can find us near the Shantadevi Nursing Home. We are located right in the Navalakhi Palace Compound on Rajmahal Road. It’s an interesting part of Baroda to be in because of the history. The hotel is run by the staff here and managed under Mr. Kamble. It’s a busy corner of the city most of the time. We get a lot of people visiting the nursing home or just passing through for work. The rooms are basic but they do the job for someone looking for a place to sleep without spending too much. We don’t have a grand entrance with a doorman. It’s more of a functional space. We have a small area where people can sit and wait for their ride. The noise from the Rajmahal Road can be a lot sometimes, especially during the rush hour. We’ve been here for several years. We see the same faces quite often. It’s a lot of manual work, keeping the plumbing running and the rooms tidy. We don’t have fancy ads in the newspapers or on the internet. We just put the sign out and wait for folks to walk in. The staff takes turns at the desk. We try to be helpful when people ask for directions to the palace or the vegetable market nearby. It’s just a simple local hotel. No frills, just rooms and a place to stay while you are in town.
