My place is a bit tucked away, but once you find it, it's easy to remember. I'm at E 2 on R V Desai Road, specifically at the 1st Cross in Manjunatha Layout. It’s in the Harikere Laxmi Apartment building. If you’re looking for a landmark, the Bolai Mata Mandir is very close by. I can often hear the bells from the temple in the mornings, which is a nice way to start the work day. Living and working in an apartment building like this means I’m always surrounded by neighbors. It’s a bit different from having a storefront on a main street, but I prefer the quiet of the layout. I’ve set up my office in one of the rooms, and it’s become my little sanctuary. I have my books, my computer, and a comfortable chair. Most of my work is done through calls or people coming by for scheduled meetings. I don't like the rush of a retail shop. Here, I can take my time and really focus on what I'm doing. The 1st Cross can be a little narrow if two cars are trying to pass, but usually, it's not an issue. I’ve been in this apartment for several years and I’ve grown fond of the small quirks of the building. It’s an honest place to work from, and it keeps me connected to the local neighborhood without being in the middle of a traffic jam.
