I have been running Ranjeet Mobile Shop in Chhani 1 for a good while now. It is a small place, just enough room for a wooden counter and some plastic display racks on the walls. Mostly, I fix phones that people have dropped. Screens are always breaking, or the side buttons just stop working after a year. I spend most of my day sitting with a magnifying glass and a tiny screwdriver. Chhani 1 is a nice local community, and I know most of the families who live around here. When their kids get their first cheap phone, they usually come to me to get a plastic case or a screen protector for it. I do not carry the most expensive brands, just the ones that people in this neighborhood actually use and can afford. I also sell some second-hand phones if I have managed to fix one up properly in my spare time. The shop can get a bit dusty because of the wind and the road outside, so I am always wiping down the glass surfaces. I have a small stool behind the counter where I sit and wait for customers. Sometimes it is very quiet, especially during the middle of the day when it is too hot for people to be out. I use that time to catch up on the difficult repairs. It is just me here, so if I go out, the shutter stays down.
