Raj Hardware Supply

Raj Hardware Supply is located at Shop No. 17 in the Ashwamegh-2 building. We’re right opposite Dodsal Society, near the Hanumanji Mandir in Akota. It’s a nice area, and we get a lot of people from the society popping in for small things they need for their homes. Whether it’s a specific screw or a new lock, we usually have it buried somewhere on the shelves. The shop isn't huge, so we have to stack things pretty high. It’s a bit of a maze inside, but that’s how hardware stores usually are. I’ve been working here for a long time and I know where every little washer is kept. We don't have a fancy computer system for everything; a lot of it is just kept in our heads or in a notebook. The temple nearby brings a lot of foot traffic on Saturdays. We often have people stopping in after they finish their prayers. It’s a friendly place. We aren't trying to be the biggest store in town, just a reliable one where you can get what you need without a fuss. Sometimes we just sit and chat with the neighbors who walk by. It’s a good way to spend the day. Hard work, but it’s what we know. We close up when the street lamps come on and then do it again tomorrow.
