We at Pvc Sheets operate out of the basement of the Radheshyam Apartments at number 20 in Sampat Rao Colony. It’s over in Alkapuri, which is usually a pretty quiet part of the city compared to the markets. Being in a basement means it stays a bit cooler in the summer, which is a relief when the sun is beating down on the street. We have stacks of sheets everywhere, so navigating the aisles requires a bit of sideways walking sometimes. It’s not the easiest place to find if you aren’t looking for the sign by the gate. We spend a lot of time measuring things and cutting them to the sizes people ask for. There isn't much natural light down here, so we have those bright tube lights on all day long. Sometimes the residents of the apartments above come down to say hello or ask about what we’re doing. We’ve got a small desk tucked away where we keep the ledger and the phone. It’s a bit cramped, especially when a new shipment arrives and we have to find space for it. We don't have a fancy showroom, just the stock and a few basic tools. It’s a straightforward business. We show up, handle the requests, and head home. It works for us. We've been in this basement for a long time and we know exactly where everything is, even if it looks like a mess to someone else.
