Raj C D Vision & Gift Shop

We are tucked away in Kalpvrux Complex on Gotri Road. Specifically at Bf 38/1. It’s right across from the GEB Sub Station, so we’re easy to spot if you know that landmark. The shop is a mix of things. We started with CDs and vision stuff years ago, but now there’s a lot more gifts taking up the space because that's what people ask for. Alkapuri Society is a good area to be in. We get a lot of regulars from Rangoli Apartment coming across the street. The shop isn't very large, but we try to use every inch of the walls for display. It’s a bit of a juggle sometimes moving things around. We don't have a big team or anything. It’s usually just us behind the counter. We like talking to the people who stop in. Some want the latest things, others are looking for something old-fashioned that they can't find elsewhere. We try to have a bit of both. The shelves are a bit crowded, but that’s because we hate saying no when we see something we think a customer might like. Gotri Road stays pretty busy all day, which is good for us. We just keep the lights on and the door open. There’s no grand plan behind it. We just enjoy being part of the local scene here and seeing the familiar faces. It’s a steady life. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but we’re still right here in the same spot doing our thing.
