R K Raju Art

Our shop is located in Sayajipura, specifically in the Landewadi area, just outside Panigate. R K Raju Art is a place where there is always a bit of paint on the floor and the smell of thinner in the air. We’ve been in this spot for quite some time, and the locals around Panigate are pretty familiar with us. It’s not a high-end gallery or anything like that; it’s more of a working studio where things actually get made. We spend our days working on different pieces, sometimes signs, sometimes more decorative stuff, depending on what people ask for when they walk through the door. The area can be quite lively, and there is always something to see out the window while we work. We don't really go in for big marketing or fancy presentations. If someone likes what we do, they usually just tell their neighbors. It’s a quiet kind of work, focusing on the details and making sure the colors look right. Sometimes the light in the workshop isn't the best, so we end up moving things closer to the door to see better. Being outside Panigate means we get a good mix of people stopping by. The weather gets hot in the summer, making the paint dry almost too fast, but we manage. We just keep the fans going and keep working. It’s a simple way to make a living, and we like being part of the Sayajipura community and the local art scene.
