Pvr Cinemas

We are located over at C-27 Chanakyapuri Society, right by the Chanakyapuri Crossroads on New Sama Road in Baroda. Managing things for PVR Cinemas from this spot keeps us pretty busy, especially on the weekends when the new movies come out. The area around Sama is always full of energy, and being near the crossroads means there is constant movement outside our doors. Most of our day is spent checking on schedules, making sure the staff has what they need, and handling the little problems that always pop up in the cinema business. It might be a projector issue or just making sure there is enough popcorn in the bins. We have been in this part of Baroda for a while and the locals know us well. It is not like the big corporate offices you see in the movies; it is more of a local operation where everyone chips in to help out. Sometimes the air conditioning acts up or the ticket machines get stuck, and we have to scramble to fix it before the next show starts. People around here love their movies, so we try to keep things running as smoothly as we can without making a big fuss. I usually end up staying late on Fridays to make sure the opening night goes okay. It is a lot of work and the noise from the crossroads never really stops, but it feels good to be right in the middle of all the action here in Baroda.
