Our workshop is located at 682 Makarpura, right on Rani Sati Road within the Gidc Estate. It is a busy spot and sometimes finding parking for the delivery vans can be a real headache. We spend our time putting together different types of equipment used in the pharmaceutical industry. There is a lot of stainless steel around here, and the sound of polishing and grinding is something you just get used to after a week or two. We aren't a corporate office with fancy glass walls; we are more of a hands-on place where things actually get built. The guys on the floor are usually covered in some kind of dust or grease, but they know exactly where every bolt goes. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad unless the rain floods the main road. We keep a small office in the front to handle all the paperwork and phone calls that come in throughout the day. People come by asking for specific parts or wanting to see how their machines are coming along. We try to keep things organized, but in a busy workshop, there is always something leaning against a wall or a crate waiting to be moved. It is practical work that requires a lot of patience and steady hands. We take our lunch breaks together and usually talk about everything except work for those forty-five minutes. There is always a lot to do, but we just take it one day at a time.
