The traffic outside on Old Padra Road can get pretty loud during rush hour, but we have gotten used to the sound of horns and engines. It is just part of being in Vadodara. Our office at D-94 and 95 is tucked away just enough that it is not too distracting. We have a stack of old brochures on a shelf that nobody really looks at anymore because everything is on the computer now. We still keep them though. It is funny how things have changed. We remember when everyone wanted paper tickets and physical maps. Now it is all emails and QR codes. We spend our mornings checking for any delays or cancellations. If a bus is late in another part of the country, we are usually the ones hearing about it first. It can be stressful when things go wrong, but we just try to find a solution. We are not miracle workers, just people who know how to navigate the booking systems. We take our lunch together most days, usually just something simple brought from home. It is a decent way to spend the day, even if the work is not always exciting. We just like seeing the trips come together for people. We have been in this part of Dev Deep Nagar for a long time and the building feels like an old friend. It is just a practical place to work.
