Pratap Brothers

Pratap Brothers is our small shop at 2 Atmavallabh Shopping Centre. We are located right near the Jain Vidyalay in the Pratap Nagar area. It’s a very local spot and we have been here for a long time. Being so close to the school means it gets very loud and busy in the afternoons when the kids come out. We mostly sell things that people in the neighborhood need on a daily basis. It’s a family kind of place where everyone knows each other’s names. The shop is not very modern looking, but it has everything we need to get through the day. We have some old wooden counters and shelves that have been here since the beginning. Sometimes the door squeaks when you open it, but we never really got around to fixing it. We start early in the morning to get the stock sorted out. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting crates and checking lists. We don’t really use any complicated systems, just pen and paper mostly. It’s a simple way of doing things and it works for us. We like the community here in Pratap Nagar and the shopping centre is a good place to be. If you walk past Jain Vidyalay, you will probably see us sitting out front during a quiet moment.
