We are right here at 5 Pratapganj, inside the B M C Shopping Centre. If you look across the street, you see the railway station. It gets pretty loud with all the trains and people rushing around, but we are used to it by now. People come in mostly to sort out their trips or get tickets when they are confused by the online stuff. The shop isn't huge, just enough room for a couple of desks and some chairs for people to wait. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit there talking until it comes back on. It is a simple place. We have been in this spot for a while, watching the shops around us change owners every few years. Most of our regulars are just local folks from the neighborhood who don't want to deal with the big travel websites. They stop by on their way to the station or after doing their grocery shopping in the center. We keep some old maps on the wall and a lot of notebooks for writing down names and dates. It is mostly just about getting the paperwork right and making sure nobody misses their train. There is always a thermos of tea somewhere on the desk. We don't have fancy posters or anything like that. Just the usual office things and the sound of the traffic outside. It gets dusty because of the road, so we spend some time every morning just wiping things down.
