Almac

Our place, Almac, is located inside the B. E. I. Compound, at number 78. It is on Chhani Road, which stays pretty busy with all the industrial traffic. The compound itself is an older one, and we have been here long enough that we do not even notice the cracks in the pavement anymore. We have a workshop where most of the actual work happens. It is full of parts, tools, and some old machines that still run just fine. There is no fancy lobby here. If you come to see us, you will probably walk straight onto the shop floor. It is usually a bit noisy and the air smells like oil and metal. We have a small corner with a desk where we handle the bills and the phone calls. It is not a corporate setup at all. We are just a group of people who know how to work with our hands. Sometimes the roof leaks a little when it rains hard, so we just move the stuff out of the way and keep going. We do not have any big slogans or advertisements. People mostly find out about us from others in the same trade. We just stick to what we know and try to get through the orders we have. It is a simple life and a simple business, tucked away in an old industrial compound on Chhani Road. We just show up and do what needs doing.
