Pizza Hut

Our shop is located in F-Block, Unit 1/17, up here in New Tehri. Being in the hills of Tehri Garhwal makes things a bit different than the city branches. The weather can get quite cold, so the kitchen is usually the warmest place to be. We are a small team and we handle everything from taking the orders at the front to making the pizzas and cleaning the tables. The space isn't very large, just a simple room with our equipment and some seating for customers. We get a lot of people who are just traveling through Uttaranchal as well as the locals who live nearby in the block. Getting our supplies delivered can be a bit of a challenge when the mountain roads are rough, but we usually have everything we need in the pantry. We don't do anything fancy, just the same menu that people expect when they see the sign. Most of our evenings are spent watching the oven timers and boxing up orders for families to take home. The atmosphere is pretty casual and we often chat with the people waiting for their food. It is a straightforward way to earn a living, just keeping the oven hot and making sure the cheese is melted right. We close up once the last order is gone and the kitchen is scrubbed. It is a quiet life up here, but we stay busy enough with the locals.
