My place is at F/14 in Tarsali, which is situated just behind Umanagar. It’s a bit of a quiet area compared to the main roads, which is nice for getting work done without too many distractions. The address is pretty easy to find once you get into the Tarsali neighborhood. I’ve set up Pinkal G Mistry here and it’s where I spend most of my waking hours. The workspace is a bit cramped because I have a lot of my equipment and supplies stored along the walls. I have a sturdy old desk where most of the planning and paperwork happens. The light coming in from the side window is usually enough during the day. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing outside, and you can hear them through the walls. It feels very much like a local, home-grown setup. I don't have a staff of people or a fancy glass-fronted office. It’s just me and the work that needs to be finished. I usually start early in the morning before the sun gets too hot. By the afternoon, it can get a bit stuffy, so I keep a small fan running on my desk. People usually call before they come over to F/14. I keep my tools organized in a specific way, though it might look like a mess to someone else. It’s a simple life and a simple way of working. I prefer it this way because I can focus on what I’m doing without any corporate pressure.
