Patelsamir

Dabhoi is a quiet town compared to the big cities, and my place is right in Manapor Chakla. This is in the Baroda district, or Vadodara as many call it now. My name is Patelsamir and I run my things from this local spot. The building is old, like many others in this part of town. It has that thick-walled feel that keeps it cool even when the Gujarat sun is really beating down outside. I don't have a big team or a lot of equipment. It is just a desk, some ledger books, and a place for people to sit when they come to visit for a talk. Being in Manapor Chakla means I am right in the heart of the local community. I see the same faces every day. We talk about the weather or the local news while I work on whatever needs finishing. It’s a very traditional way of doing business. I don’t have a website or any of those modern things; I just rely on being here at my address and doing my work. The streets are a bit crowded with cycles and the occasional cow, which is just normal life here. I like the pace of Dabhoi. It allows me to focus on my tasks without the pressure of a big city. My family has been in this area for a long time, so everyone knows where to find me if they need something. It’s simple and honest.
