Patel Mobile World

Our shop, Patel Mobile World, is situated at Subhanpura Survey No 555, right in Tapkir Galli 1. It’s a narrow street, so it’s always a bit of a squeeze for cars to get through. We spend our days surrounded by mobile phones and all the little bits that go with them. The counter is usually covered in tools because there is always something that needs fixing. We have a couple of glass cabinets that we try to keep clean, but fingerprints always seem to find their way back. It’s just a part of the job. Most of our customers are locals who live within walking distance. They come in for simple things like a new SIM or to fix a charging port. We don't have a big marketing budget, so we just rely on people telling their friends about us. The back room is where we store the extra stock and where we take our breaks. It’s pretty cramped with all the boxes stacked up to the ceiling. Sometimes it feels like we are drowning in plastic cases and cables. We usually have the radio playing in the background to keep things lively. Dealing with technology can be frustrating when parts don't work, but we just take it one day at a time. Tapkir Galli is a busy place, and we are glad to be part of it. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
