We’re tucked into unit 18 at the Varun Complex, right across from Township No. 1 and near the Darbar Chockadi area in Manjalpur. It’s a handy spot for us because we’re right in the middle of things. Most of the day is spent looking at broken equipment and trying to find the right spare parts. The shelves are packed with old manuals and toolboxes that have seen a lot of use. We don’t really have a fancy front office, it’s more of a workshop where we get our hands dirty. Sometimes a job takes longer than we thought because a bolt is rusted shut or a part is hard to find, but we stay until it’s sorted. We drink a lot of tea while we work. The fan in the corner makes a clicking sound that we’ve stopped noticing. People drop off their stuff and we give them a rough idea of when it’ll be ready. We aren't the type to use big words or make promises we can't keep. We just look at the machine, see what’s wrong, and try to fix it. It gets a bit crowded in here when we have a few big pieces of equipment taking up the floor space. We keep the doors open to catch whatever breeze comes through. It’s a simple setup, but it’s been working for us for quite a while now. We just do the repairs.
