Parmeshwar Granite & Marble

You can find Parmeshwar Granite & Marble at A 21 Channi Naka, right near the Chhani Jakat Naka area. Our yard is full of big slabs of stone, mostly marble and granite, as the name says. It is a heavy place to work. We spend a lot of time moving these big pieces of stone around, which takes a lot of care so they don’t crack. The ground is usually covered in a bit of white dust from the cutting and polishing work. We don't have a fancy showroom with air conditioning. We just have our yard at A 21 where people can come and look at the different colors and patterns in the stone. It is a lot of outdoor work, so we are at the mercy of the weather most of the time. When it rains, the stone looks different, and we have to be careful with the wet ground. Near Chhani Jakat Naka, there is always a lot of traffic and the sound of trucks. We have a small shack where we keep the records and where we sit for a bit to have some water. We aren't doing any big marketing. Most people just see the stacks of marble from the road and stop in. It’s a simple business of selling stone and making sure it gets loaded onto the trucks correctly. We’ve been here at Channi Naka long enough to know how the day usually goes.
