We are based out of units 167 and 168 in the Nandesari GIDC area. If you’ve ever been to Nandesari, you know it’s a big hub for chemical and drug companies. Our spot is right in the thick of it. It’s a practical location for the kind of work we do. The buildings are older, but they serve the purpose. We spend most of our time dealing with the production side of things. It’s not a clean-room office environment like you see on TV; it’s a real industrial site. There is usually a faint smell of chemicals in the air, which is normal for this part of the estate. The sun beats down on the corrugated roofs in the summer, making it pretty hot inside the warehouse sections. We have a small team here, and most of us have been around for years. We know the security guards at the main gate and the guys at the tea stall around the corner. We don't do much marketing or anything like that. We just fulfill the orders and keep the machinery running as best as we can. Some days are slower than others, but there is always something to clean or a piece of equipment that needs a bit of oil. The roads in Nandesari can be a bit rough after the monsoon, so we have to be careful with the transport trucks. It is just a regular, hard-working day for us every time we show up.
