P. M. Enterprises

P. M. Enterprises sits in the Doulat Building on Gpo Lane. If you know Raopura, you know how crowded it can get on Kharivav Road. We are right in the middle of all that. The building itself has been around for ages. It has those high ceilings and narrow stairs that you don't see in newer places anymore. We like the character of it, even if the plumbing acts up once in a while. Being near the GPO is handy for us because we still send out a fair amount of mail. Most of our work is done on the phone or in person. We don't have a website or anything like that because we never felt the need for one. People find us by word of mouth or because they were walking down Gpo Lane and saw our name. It’s a bit cramped inside with all the boxes, but we know where everything is. We started out small and stayed that way on purpose. It’s easier to manage things when you know every single detail yourself. The tea guy comes around twice a day, and that’s usually when we take a break and talk about things other than work. Raopura is a lively area and there is always something happening outside the window. It keeps things interesting for us. We plan to stay in this building as long as they let us.
