Nextel The Mobile Shop

Nextel The Mobile Shop is located over at Raopura 3 in the Sarjan Estate area. It’s a busy spot and we spend most of our days inside this shop. Usually, we open up around ten in the morning and start cleaning the glass counters. There is always dust coming in from the main road, which is annoying. Most people come to us because their phone screen is cracked or the battery won't hold a charge anymore. We have all kinds of tempered glass and plastic covers hanging on the walls. It’s not a huge place but it fits what we need for now. The neighbors are mostly other small shops, so we talk to them when things are slow and drink tea together. Raopura gets really crowded in the evenings, making it hard to find a place to park your scooter near Sarjan Estate. We see a lot of different people every day. Some are just looking for a cheap cable, others want the latest model but can't afford it. We don't do anything fancy here. It’s just us sitting behind the desk, fixing what we can and selling what we have in the drawers. The tea stall nearby is where we get our breaks. Sometimes the internet is slow, which makes testing the phones a real pain. We’ve been at this for a while and the routine stays pretty much the same. It’s just a normal local business where we try to keep things moving. We don't have any big corporate backing, just a few of us working here and trying to get by.
