New Edge Engineering Co.

New Edge Engineering Co. is located at 11- Padam Park in Makarpura. This area is mostly industrial, so we fit right in with the other workshops around here. We do various engineering jobs, mostly involving metal and machining. The shop floor is always a bit oily, and there’s a smell of cut metal in the air. We have a few old lathes and some newer tools that we use every day. It’s loud when the machines are running, so we usually have to shout to hear each other. We don’t have a receptionist or a fancy waiting area for clients. If you come by, you’ll probably find us at the back working on something. We just take the drawings or the parts and get to work. Padam Park is a busy little pocket of Makarpura, and there’s always something happening. We’ve been here for a good while and we know the other shop owners nearby. Sometimes we borrow tools from each other. It’s a practical way to work. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we have to. Most of our day is spent standing on our feet and making sure the parts come out the right size. It’s honest work and it keeps us on our toes. We don't have any big plans to expand or anything, we just want to keep the machines running and the customers coming back when they need something made.
