Nayan A Bhausar

Setting up shop here on Station Road was a choice I made years ago because I wanted to be where the action is. Sakar 3 is a decent building, though it gets a bit crowded during peak hours when the trains are coming in. We are quite close to the Sanyash Ashram, which is a good landmark for people who are visiting us for the first time and might get lost in the traffic. Nayan A Bhausar is just the name on the door, but it’s really just about the daily grind here. I spend most of my time answering the phone or looking over papers. The tea stall downstairs is where I usually get my morning start. It’s loud out there on the road, but inside the office, it stays mostly quiet. We don't have fancy decorations or a big lobby. There are just a few chairs and a lot of work to get through every day. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we just wait it out and keep talking. I like being near the station because you see all kinds of people passing by. It reminds me that the world is big, even if my corner in Sakar 3 is small. I’ve lived in this area most of my life so I know the shortcuts and the best places to eat lunch. People stop by to chat as much as they do for business. It is a very practical way to spend the day.
