N S Art Classes

N S Art Classes is located in Tandalja, within the Aysha Park Society at house C 16. We are right opposite the Patrakar area, which is a good landmark for anyone trying to find the place. This isn't a big, fancy art school with a lot of staff. It’s just a small, local spot where we teach drawing and painting. We use a part of the house for the classes, so it has a very homey and comfortable feel to it. There are sketches pinned to the walls and half-finished paintings sitting on easels. The floor is a bit stained with ink and paint, but we don't mind that much. It shows that people are actually working. Most of our students are kids from the society or the surrounding streets in Tandalja. We usually hold the classes in the late afternoon when it’s a bit cooler outside. We don't have any expensive equipment. We just use basic pencils, crayons, and water-based paints. It’s a very simple and honest way to spend time. We’ve been here for a few years, and it’s nice to see the same faces coming back. We don't do any big advertising. People just know we are here and they drop by if they want to learn. It’s just a quiet, creative space for the neighborhood to use.
