Mobile Track

Mobile Track is tucked away in Raopura at GF6. It’s a small ground floor unit. If you know the Raopura area, you know it's always crowded and there's always something going on. I spend a lot of time behind the counter here. Dealing with phones and gadgets all day is what we do. It’s not like those big air-conditioned malls. It’s a bit cramped in here, especially when more than three people walk in at once. We have shelves lined with various things, and sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what a customer asked for. The lighting isn't the best, but we know where everything is. I started this place because I liked fixing things and talking to people about tech. It’s not always easy. Sometimes parts don't arrive on time or the internet goes down, and we just have to deal with it. I don't have a big staff. It's usually just me and my cousin. We drink a lot of tea while we work. The shop opens a bit late in the morning because the traffic in Raopura is a nightmare early on. We stay open late though. People often drop by after work. We don't have a fancy website or anything. If someone needs us, they just walk into GF6. It’s simple that way. We don't try to be anything we aren't. Mostly we just focus on getting people's devices back in their hands so they can go about their day.
