Miraj Engineers

Miraj Engineers is based over in Gorwa, right at T/2 in the B.I.D.C. Estate. Most people find us by looking for the Diamond Cable building because we are sitting right next to it. It’s a handy landmark since the estate roads can look the same after a while. Our shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but it’s where we spend most of our waking hours. We do engineering work, mostly the kind that involves a lot of patience and some old-fashioned tools along with the newer machines. The floor is usually covered in scrap and metal shavings by noon. We try to keep it organized, but when things get busy, that goes out the window pretty fast. It’s a local operation, and we know many of the other owners around the Gorwa area. Sometimes we borrow a tool or help each other out if a machine breaks down. It’s that kind of place. We don’t have a big marketing team or anyone sitting in a suit. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in overalls or just regular clothes covered in grease. We’ve been here at T/2 for a long time now. It’s reliable. We know the power cuts, the local tea stalls, and the best way to avoid the evening rush. It’s just a normal day-to-day life for us here in the estate. We like the routine of it all.
