Our shop is down at Gokulesh Complex, specifically unit 11 on the ground floor. It is on Sun Pharma Road in Atladara. If you know where Laxminarayan Party Plot is, we are pretty much right near there. It’s a decent area, though it gets incredibly busy whenever there is a wedding or a big event at the party plot. You can hear the music and the crowds from here. I usually spend my time sitting behind the counter or reorganizing the back shelves. It seems like there is always more stock arriving than there is room to put it. We try to keep things simple. The floor gets a bit dusty because of the road work nearby, so sweeping is a constant thing. Most people who come in are from the apartments around here. We talk about the weather or how the road traffic is getting worse every year. It’s just a regular life here. I don't like those fancy shops where everything is behind glass and you can't talk to anyone. Here, you just walk in and we see what we can do for you. Some days are slow, and I just read the paper while waiting for the next person. Other days, it’s one person after another until we close up for the night. We've been in Atladara for a bit now, and it feels like home.
