Our factory is located at C-1, 219/1 in the G.I.D.C. zone. If you walk inside, the first thing you notice is the heat from the machines and the smell of melting plastic. We’ve been making plastic items here for a while now, and the floor is always covered in those little plastic pellets. It’s a noisy environment with the molders clicking and the fans blowing to keep the air moving. We aren't a big fancy operation with a clean-room environment. It’s a working shop where things get dusty and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint. We have a small crew and most of us have been working these same machines for years. We know their quirks and which ones need a little kick to stay running. The office is just a small corner partitioned off with some glass that vibrates when the big press starts up. We spend our days checking the quality of the parts and packing them into cardboard boxes. Sometimes a shipment is late or a machine breaks down, and we all have to jump in to fix it. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to answer emails in five minutes. We are just here doing the work and making sure the orders are filled. It’s a simple life in the industrial estate and we like it.
