If you walk down toward Fatepura near that Travel Fantacy spot you will find us. Marvans Telecom is basically a small shop filled with boxes of phone cases and chargers. It gets really loud outside with all the rickshaws honking their horns all day long. We spend a lot of time looking at tiny screws and phone screens under a bright lamp. It’s tricky work because everything is so small and easy to lose on the floor. Customers come in with cracked glass or batteries that won't hold a charge anymore. We have a lot of different cables hanging on the walls because everyone seems to have a different phone these days. The shop feels a bit cramped when three or four people come in at once. We usually have the radio playing in the background but you can barely hear it over the street noise. Travel Fantacy is right there so people often come in asking for directions while they are waiting for their bus or something. We don’t mind. It’s just how it is in Fatepura. The floor gets dusty fast because the door stays open to let some air in. My brother and I take turns sitting at the front counter. We keep some spare parts in those plastic bins behind the chair. It is just a regular mobile shop doing its thing every day in a busy part of the city.
