Maruti Engineering

We have been over here at 492 in the G I D C area of Makarpura for quite some time now. It’s an industrial spot so there is always a lot of noise and trucks moving around outside. Maruti Engineering isn't a fancy place with a big lobby or anything like that. It’s mostly just the workshop floor and a small desk where we keep the papers. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside if we leave the shutters up too long. We just show up in the morning, get the machines started, and do what needs to be done. It’s a lot of metal work and sweat. Most of the guys here live nearby so we all know the tea stalls around Makarpura pretty well. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we have to check a message or look at a drawing. If you come by looking for us, look for the number 492 painted on the wall. Sometimes it gets blocked by a parked vehicle. It’s not a quiet place to work but we are used to it by now. We just focus on the job and try to get things out the door on time. The ceiling fans don't do much in the summer but we keep going anyway. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot of work to finish but mostly we try to get home to our families. It is just a regular life in Makarpura and we have been doing it this way for many years.
