Manish Plastics

Manish Plastics is located out in Chhani. It’s a place that stays pretty busy with local trade and people moving around all day. We deal with plastic goods, mostly stuff that people use in their homes or for small businesses. We have a lot of stock piled up, so the shop often feels a bit like a warehouse more than a shop. There are buckets, crates, and all sorts of containers everywhere you look. We spend our mornings unloading trucks and checking the stock that comes in. Chhani has a lot of dust, so we are constantly wiping down the inventory to keep it looking decent for whoever walks in. It’s not a fancy showroom. It’s just a practical space where we get things done. We have a few regular customers who have been coming to us for years and years. They know we are just regular people working here. My brother helps me out with the heavy lifting and the deliveries when the truck is available. We don't have a big marketing budget or a social media team. We just open the doors and wait for people to come in. The sun can be quite harsh in Chhani, so we try to do the heavy work early in the morning or late in the afternoon. It’s a straightforward life. We sell plastic, we talk to the locals, and we head home when the sun goes down. It’s how things have been for a long time now and we are happy enough.
