D P Fasteners Engineering

We run D P Fasteners Engineering out of Plot No. 747 9 in the Gidc Ind. Estate. Most people don’t think much about bolts and nuts, but that’s all we think about all day. We have bins and bins full of different sizes. Sometimes it feels like we are counting thousands of tiny pieces, and it gets a bit repetitive, but it’s what we do. The machines that make the threads are loud and they require a lot of oil to stay cool. We spend a lot of time checking the threads to make sure they don’t strip. It’s frustrating when a batch comes out wrong, so we keep a close eye on the settings. My brother handles the deliveries, and I stay on the floor to watch the machines. The floor is concrete and hard on the feet, so we wear thick boots. We don't have a fancy website or a big sales team. Most people just call us or walk in because they know we are here. The GIDC estate is a good place for us because everyone around here needs what we make. We keep the doors open for a bit of a breeze, especially in the summer. It’s simple work, but it keeps the lights on and we take some pride in seeing our fasteners used in big machines. We just stay focused on the small things that matter for the job.
