Benkee Engineers

We've been at Plot No 354 in the Gidc Estate for a long time now. It’s mostly just us getting through the daily workload, dealing with metal parts and whatever else comes through the door. The shop gets pretty hot in the afternoons, especially when the machines are all running at once. We started out small and stayed that way mostly, which is fine for us. There’s always a bit of grease on everything, but that’s just how engineering shops go. Most days are about figuring out why a certain part isn’t fitting or making sure the lathes are behaving themselves. We don't have a fancy office or anything. People usually find us by the noise or just knowing where we are in the estate. Sometimes the tea guy comes by and that’s the highlight of the morning. It’s hard work, and my hands are usually stained by the end of the shift. We don't do much in the way of advertising because the work keeps us busy enough as it is. We just focus on what’s on the bench today. If you walk past Plot 354, you’ll probably see a few of us out front during a break. It's nothing fancy, just a regular place where we get things done. We keep the doors open for the breeze, even if it brings in the dust from the road. It’s just how we operate. Benkee Engineers is where we spend our lives.
