Aum Engineers

Our place, Aum Engineers, is tucked away at Plot No. 887-4 in the Gidc Ind. Estate. It's a solid little spot where we do a lot of fabrication and general engineering tasks. We don't really have a reception desk or a fancy waiting room because most people who come by are here to drop off materials or pick up finished parts. The workshop gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so we usually have the big fans going full blast just to keep the air moving. It’s a practical setup. We’ve got the lathes and the drills all laid out so we can move from one task to the next without tripping over each other. It’s not always pretty in here. There are piles of scrap metal in the corner and boxes of bolts everywhere you look. But we know exactly where everything is when we need it. Someone is always running a machine, so you have to talk loud if you want to be heard over the noise. We’ve been at this for some time now. We aren't much for writing long descriptions or having big meetings about things. We’d rather just look at the blueprints and get started on the work. The traffic in the estate can be a real headache in the mornings. Once you’re inside the gate though, it’s just about getting the work done. We take pride in the fact that our stuff doesn't break.
