We are over at Plot No. 3 in Desai Park, which is right near the Shri Hari Party Plot. If you're driving down the GIDC Industrial Estate Road, you’ll probably see our sign. Our office is usually covered in blueprints and rolls of tracing paper. It’s a small team here, mostly just a few of us who like drawing and figuring out how things should be built. We spend half our time in front of computers and the other half out on dusty construction sites wearing boots. It’s not always pretty work. There’s a lot of arguing over where a wall should go or how to fix a plumbing issue that wasn't expected. We deal with both the engineering side and the design side, so there’s always something to talk about. The office gets a bit messy when we are in the middle of a big project. We’ve got stacks of samples like tiles and bricks lying around everywhere. It’s a local business and we mostly work on buildings around this part of town. We’ve seen the GIDC area grow quite a bit since we started. Sometimes people just pop in to ask advice about a house they want to build. We sit down, have some tea, and look at the sketches. It’s a straightforward way to work. We don't have fancy sales people, just us doing the drawings and the math to make things stand up.
