A P Engineers

A P Engineers is located over at Plot No. 6-a-1 in the GIDC Industrial Estate. If you’ve ever spent time in this part of the estate, you know it’s a lot of trucks and industrial noise all day long. We have a small crew here and we mostly focus on mechanical jobs and repairs. The floor is concrete and has plenty of stains from years of work, which shows how much we actually do. We don't spend much time on paperwork or sitting in an office; we’re usually out on the floor dealing with whatever machine is acting up that day. The light isn’t always great in the corners of the shop, but we’ve got enough lamps to see what we are doing. It’s practical work. Nothing we do is meant to look pretty, it just needs to work right. We see a lot of the same faces from around the industrial estate coming in for small parts or help with a fix. Sometimes things get backed up when a big order comes in, and we all have to stay late to get it done. There’s no big sign out front, just the plot number and our name. It's the kind of place where you can smell the ozone from welding and the cool scent of cutting fluid. We just keep our heads down and keep the machines running for whoever needs us. It's simple work but it keeps us busy and the bills paid. We don't need much more than that.
