Mahendra Mobiles

If you look for us, we are tucked away in Sayajigun Sarkiwadni Pole, over in Gomtipur 4. This part of town is full of narrow lanes and old buildings, so it has a different feel than the newer parts of the city. Mahendra Mobiles has been here for a bit now. We mostly deal with second-hand phones and basic repairs. The shop is quite small, honestly, just enough room for the workbench and a few shelves for the boxes. People in the pole know us well, so we get a lot of regulars who just stop by to chat or ask a quick question about their settings. We have batteries for older models that are hard to find elsewhere. I spend a lot of time soldering small parts or cleaning out dust from charging ports. It’s a lot of sitting down and focusing on tiny screws. During the monsoon, the lane gets a bit damp, so we have to be careful about the stock. We don't have a big sign, just the name on the front. Gomtipur 4 is a busy area with a lot of families who have lived here for generations. It’s a community where everyone knows everyone’s business. We just do our part by keeping their devices running. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s steady work. We open early and stay until the street gets quiet at night.
