Mahedavia Sarvajanik High School

Mahedavia Sarvajanik High School is located right near the State Bank in Lati Bazar, Dabhoi. Being in this part of Vadodara means we are right in the middle of a busy area. It gets a bit noisy outside with the traffic and the market nearby, but inside the school gates, things are a lot more focused. We’ve been here for a good number of years, serving the families around the 390002 area. The school building is an older style, which gives it a bit of character. We have high ceilings and heavy wooden doors in some of the rooms. Every morning, the students gather for their assembly before heading off to their respective classes. We teach all the standard subjects you’d expect in a high school. It’s a lot of hard work for both the teachers and the students, especially when exams are coming up. We have a small area where the kids can sit during their lunch breaks. Sometimes the dust from the road gets in, so we are always sweeping the floors to keep things tidy. Our staff is a mix of older teachers who have seen generations pass through and some newer faces who bring a lot of energy. We don't have any flashy signs or anything like that. People know us because we’ve been part of the Dabhoi landscape for so long. It is just a regular school doing regular things for the local kids. We just try to keep the benches sturdy and the books in good shape for everyone who walks through our doors.
