Maa Mobile

Down in Bajwa, you will find Maa Mobile. We are not a very big shop, but we handle a lot of different phone-related things. Most people come to us when they need a quick recharge or if their screen has cracked again. We have a glass counter full of different covers and chargers. It’s usually just me sitting here with my tools, fixing whatever comes across the desk. The area around Bajwa is busy, and we get people from the nearby offices and houses all day long. Sometimes we sell second-hand handsets if we can find ones that are in good shape. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything. It's just a small room with a lot of wires and boxes everywhere. I started this shop because I liked fiddling with electronics, and it just grew from there. We don't use any complicated systems for our work. People tell us what’s wrong with their phone, and we see if we can fix it by the evening. The tea stall next door is where I usually get my lunch, and sometimes customers join me for a cup while they wait. We try to be quick with the repairs because we know how much people rely on their phones these days. It is a simple business, and we like the people who live around here in Bajwa. It keeps us busy and the days go by pretty fast because there is always something to tinker with.
