Lions Blind Girls School

The Lions Blind Girls School is found at 30, Goyagate Society, right on R V Desai Road in the Pratapnagar area of Vadodara. It is a specific kind of place because we only work with girls who have trouble seeing. It has been a part of this community for a long time. The building is situated inside the society, so it is a bit tucked away from the main noise of the traffic on R V Desai Road. This helps keep things a bit calmer for the girls who live and study here. It is not just a school; it is more like a second home for many of them. The rooms are set up to be easy to navigate, and we try to keep things in the same place so nobody trips. We don't have any big corporate funding or anything like that. We mostly rely on the local community and the work of our staff. The classrooms are filled with Braille books and other tools that help with learning. It is a busy place, with something always going on, whether it is music practice or vocational training. The staff stays busy from morning until late at night. We don't put up big posters or try to sell ourselves to anyone. We just focus on the daily needs of the students. It is a lot of work, but it is what we do here in Vadodara.
